Roatán is one of the most popular cruise destinations in the Western Caribbean. Located in the Bay Islands of Honduras, the island is famous for coral reefs, clear turquoise waters, and eco-adventures.

Mahogany Bay Cruise Center

Mahogany Bay is a private cruise port operated by Carnival Cruise Line’s parent company, Carnival Corporation. It is located in Dixon Cove, approximately 5 km (3 miles) from Coxen Hole.

This port is primarily used by:

• Carnival Cruise Line

• Princess Cruises

• Holland America Line

Mahogany Bay features a large shopping area, restaurants, bars, and a private beach accessible by chairlift or walking path. The beach area is exclusively for cruise passengers docked at this port.

Port of Roatan (Coxen Hole)

The Port of Roatán, also known as Town Center at Coxen Hole, is located near the island’s main town.

It is commonly used by:

• Royal Caribbean International

• Norwegian Cruise Line

• MSC Cruises

The port complex includes shopping, restaurants, and tour departure areas. Unlike Mahogany Bay, it does not have a private beach attached, but taxis and excursions provide quick access to popular beaches and snorkeling sites.
