Port Overview
The Nassau Cruise Port, located at Prince George Wharf, is the busiest cruise port in The Bahamas and one of the most visited ports in the Caribbean. Situated directly in downtown Nassau, the port provides immediate access to shopping, restaurants, historic landmarks, and beaches.
Following a major redevelopment completed in recent years, the port now features a modern terminal, expanded berths, new entertainment areas, upgraded security, and improved passenger flow. It can accommodate several mega-ships at the same time, making it a frequent stop for short Bahamas and Caribbean itineraries.
Visitors can walk straight from the ship into the heart of Nassau, with Bay Street’s duty-free shops just steps away. Popular attractions such as the Queen’s Staircase and Junkanoo Beach are also nearby.
