  • Expansion Efforts: Due to high demand for Carnival Spirit cruises frequently reach 100% capacity—city plans include adding two parking deck levels (approximately 250 spaces) possibly by 2025, enabling additional cruise lines to use the port.

    • American Cruise Lines will make Mobile a port of call for its American Symphony riverboat in spring 2026, as part of a Gulf Coast itinerary.
